Familiarize yourself with the key rules regarding the transport of weapons and ammunition. The carriage of weapons and ammunition must be reported at least 48 hours before departure through:

It is allowed to transport hunting and sporting weapons after submitting all required permits and licences. Transport of such weapons is subject to an additional charge if it is carried in special cases as separate baggage. One piece of weapon packed in checked baggage within the available limit is not subject to any additional charges.

It is allowed to transport up to 5 kg of ammunition per person.

Archery equipment, safely packed, may be transported only as checked baggage. Such baggage is included in the checked baggage limit.

Regulations for transporting weapons and ammunition may vary by country. Please contact us before your trip to confirm that transportation to your chosen destination is allowed and complies with local regulations.

Additionally:

  • Transporting weapons to and from the United Kingdom is currently not possible.
  • If you want to transport weapons to Saudi Arabia, please contact the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for more information.
  • Transporting weapons to and from Israel is currently not possible.
  • If you wish to transport firearms to Finland, you must first obtain a permit from the Finnish police.
